All You Need To Know

HOW DO I RENT A PADDLE BOARD?

Our business model is built around the Peachtree City and Fayette County Rules and Regulations. 

We are the internet based business, therefore the scheduling of the paddle board rentals, the payments and the signatures of the Adventures PTC, LLC Waiver Agreement must be completed on-line.  Once it is completed, we have two options for delivery.

You can pick up from our warehouse for self delivery.  Once you make the booking, we'll meet you in our warehouse 30 minutes prior your booked time and help you to load up (please see the options for our trailers and roof rack for you to use with our rentals).  Give us a call when you done and will meet you in our warehouse receive the rental back.

 We can also drop off your rental at the place of your residence for you to take it to the lake.  We'll pick it back up at the prearranged time or once you give us a call.

WILL I GET WET?

You don’t have to and it is not the intent of the rental.  You can board the stand up paddle board from dock at the Kedron Lake and the McIntoch Lake.  Although, we highly recommend for all beginners to board the board from the shore, knee-deep.  Please watch these videos from PaddleFit for proper mounting and dismounting techniques.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Paddle boarding is a demanding physical activity, so please bring some water and stay hydrated, sweating will help your body to maintain a normal temperature.  Since there is very little shade at the lakes, the overheating is common and must be prevented.  Wear loose-fitting, lightweight clothing and sun hats.  Protect against the sunburn with the sunscreen.   We also highly recommend to keep a cooling towel around your neck throughout the whole rental.

HOW DO I PROTECT MY VALUABLES FROM GETTING WET?

Please leave your valuables in the car.  If you want to take them with you, please have them protected with the weatherproof gear.  We offer for rent small PELICAN waterproof cases and SEA TO SUMMIT dry bags.  Nevertheless, Adventures PTC, LLC does not carry any responsibility for the water damage of your valuables.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A WAIVER AGREEMENT?

All participants have to sign ADVENTURES PTC, LLC RELEASE, WAIVER, INDEMNIFICATION, HOLD HARMLESS, AND ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK AGREEMENT.  Please review it prior to booking the rental.  You will be required to sign your full name at the time of the rental.  If you have any other members participating with you, the additional hard copies can be signed at the place of the drop off.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

Renter is responsible for any damage caused to equipment, or the full value of equipment if lost or stolen.  The replacement value for lost items are: $150 for the paddle board paddle, $50 for the life vest and $25 for the leash.
The security deposit is not collected at the time of booking, but we require to enter the valid driver’s license number at the checkout.  Please have it available for visual verification at the time of the rental.  We do not collect your address or credit card number; this information is entered for the payment processing service only and is not available to us.

PARKING FEES ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH YOU RENTAL

The parking fee the Lake McIntosh is $5.00, paid at the Kiosk be the entrance for all out of county vehicles.

INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS

We fully understand the weather concerns and will work with you to make the accommodations.  We can reschedule your current booking to any other day of your choice.  We can also e-mail you a COUPON CODE which will allow you to reschedule it through our website at any time without any additional payments.  We would like to have at least 4 hours advance notice if you decide to reschedule your booking due to weather conditions.  In either case, there will be no cancellation penalties due to the weather conditions.
